Program Description:

The IT-2250: Networking Specialist program is recommended for beginning IT professionals looking for a starting point as an IT professional in the field of networking. Networking is the backbone of the entire IT industry, and at its core is communication. Communicating between networks allows people to connect, share information, and collaborate. This program is designed to provide a foundational, or entry-level pathway towards two key networking certifications that are well known throughout the world of IT: Cisco Certified Technician (Routing and Switching), and Comp TIA Network+.

Includes instruction in operating systems and applications; systems design and analysis; networking theory and solutions; types of networks; network management and control; network and flow optimization; security; configuring; and troubleshooting.
