Leffler Academy's program consists of the course requirements approved by the EMS Commission, Sections 1- Sections 14. The additional Indiana requirements will be: Indiana Driving Law; Hazardous Materials Awareness, Esophageal, Tracheal, Multi-Lumen, and Supraglottic Airway; Peripheral IV Maintenance; POST Training. Practicum hours completed on an Ambulance & in the hospital.
Students must possess a GED/HS Diploma,Must have their Hepatitis Band Flu shots as well as their PPD immunization,Must have a clean background check and negative drug screen, as well as a current CPR certification,Must have or apply for a PSID number for NIMS/Acadis Portal
Leffler Academy will allow students to enroll in the EMT program up until the day before the first day of class for the program.EX: If the program begins on November 1st, 2021, students would have until October 29th (Friday at 5:00 pm) to enroll,
