Faculty for the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program has to have at least 4 years of being an expanded functions assistant.
This program is a 6-week course designed for dental assistant training in Expanded Function Procedures. During this program, program students will be trained in restorative expanded functions procedures. It is a didactic and clinical program with hands-on practice placing restorations.
Before anyone can enroll into the expanded functions program they have to be a dental assistant first.
