Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree; Unencumbered nursing licensure; two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

Program Description:

The PN Program is designed to prepare students to become licensed practical/vocational nurses who provide direct care to patients in a variety of settings. Graduates earn a Diploma in Nursing and are prepared to take the NCLEX-PN®, which they must pass before they can be employed as a licensed practical/vocational nurse.

51.3901 Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training A program that prepares individuals to assist in providing general nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, physician or dentist. Includes instruction in taking patient vital signs, applying sterile dressings, patient health education, and assistance with examinations and treatment.

Once a student has met requirements for admission, the student may be considered for acceptance in the next available term. Terms are quarter based with four starts per year: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
