Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree; Unencumbered nursing licensure; two (2) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
The PN Program is designed to prepare students to become licensed practical/vocational nurses who provide direct care to patients in a variety of settings. Graduates earn a Diploma in Nursing and are prepared to take the NCLEX-PN®, which they must pass before they can be employed as a licensed practical/vocational nurse.
General Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Qualifying Entrance Examination Score, or evidence of a previously earned bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Communicate Effectively in English
Once a student has met requirements for admission, the student may be considered for acceptance in the next available term. Terms are quarter based with four starts per year: spring, summer, fall, and winter.
