Indiana state licensed registered nurse that has successfully completed a qualified medication aide program director training and is certified by the Indiana State Department of Health to teach the QMA program.
Resq Health & Safety Training'sinstructor led program teaches students to be able to demonstratcompetency while dispensing and passing medications and or applying/administering treatments under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse.The Qualified Medication Aide TrainingProgram provided by Resqensures that individuals meet the objectivesfor a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certified by the Indiana State Department of Health. Upon completion they will required to demostrate competency inskills required bythe Indiana State Department of Health for theQualified Medication Aide Indiana State Certification.
Be at least of 18 years of age Have proof of a high school diploma or equivalent Be in good standing as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) on the Indiana Aide Registry Worked a minimum of 1,000 hours as a CNA within the last 24 months Pass a QMA written competency evaluation
