All instructors must have prior office administration experience, training experience and posses the QuickBooks Certified User certification.
OfficeWorks is an innovative and proven workforce training initiative that prepares students for multiple high-priority occupations, including: Administrative Assistants (including both Virtual and On-site) Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks Office & Administrative Support Supervisors The curriculum relies on a wide range of relevant and industry-aligned content, and includes the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Certification, as foundational bookkeeping skills are often a critical requirement of these high-priority jobs. Key training in Microsoft Office applications, office support fundamentals and customer service areprovided and is transferrable to a wide range of administrative occupations. Additionally, a Business Communication certification issued by the International Business Training Association (IBTA) is also embedded to help students better interface and communicate with customers, colleagues, and managers.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma, high school equivalency diploma or be working toward their HSE. They also should have strong customer serviice and computer skills.
Students must be registered one week prior to the course start date.
