All program faculty are either full-time Purdue University faculty or represent Purdue as Limite Term Lecturers who have been vetted. The minimum credential to teach these courses is a master's degree.
The program is an online human resources certificate that can be obtained in 11 months. Students will learn from a specific plan of study that begins with foundational business topics followed by broadening topics that pertain to human resource management. The program concludes with a specialization topic that students choose from a list of possible electives. Courses are eight weeks in length and take a total of 11 months to complete. The groups meet in a cohort format and will work on a capstone project as determined by their advisor and faculty sponsor.
This certificate is designed for non-degree seeking individuals who wish to earn college credit. These credits will transfer to a degree, and for individuals wishing to pursue a degree, then the regular Purdue admissions policies apply. For individuals who already possess a bachelor's degree, the admissions pre-requisites are considered fulfilled.
